- Identify and evaluate client characteristics and needs to enable advice and recommendations for a treatment plan.
- Select procedures and products according to agreed treatment plan and confirm with client.
- Identify contraindications, explain to client, and refer to appropriate professional where required.
- Thoroughly cleanse client's skin and remove all make-up from treatment area.
- Safely dispose of treatment waste to minimise negative environmental impacts according to workplace procedures.
- Chemically treat eyelash and eyebrows.
- Perform and evaluate patch test where required to determine adverse effects.
- Prepare, apply and remove products according to client requirements, manufacturer instructions, relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures.
- Perform chemical treatment procedures according to relevant legislation, workplace policies and procedures and manufacturer instructions.
- Apply post-treatment product according to client requirements.
- Evaluate result against client's expectations and agreed treatment plan.
- Shape eyebrows.
- Prepare, apply and remove products according to client requirements, manufacturer instructions, relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures.
- Apply soothing product according to client requirements.
- Clean and disinfect tweezers and implements after use or dispose of wax according to relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures.
- Dispose of hair according to relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures.
- Evaluate eyebrow shape against client expectations and treatment plan.
- Review treatment and provide post-treatment advice.
